The Ladies Choice
Famous for two things, it was the first Australian record album produced by women ( Robyn Archer and Diana Manson) and it contained outrageous lyrics for the time. Released in 1977 and featuring the Archer classics Menstruation Blues, The Old Soft Screw and Dicks Don't Grow on Trees, the band features Adelaide session musicians led by piano man Peter Head.

"This is the first album from Adelaide artist Robyn Archer and seems bound to become a collector's item"
Rolling Stone
"It's a must not only because her original feminist lyrics are so good, but also because the music itself is first class. The combination creates an impressive professional strong gutsy sound full of wit and variety"
